Hi Andrew. I had the same issue. You need to activate SMBv1 in windows to get access to the data. I extracted my data by connecting to a switch without WAN-access just to be sure, and copied the data to a newer NAS-device. When copy was complete i discarded my old NAS and support for newer SMB-versions is the solution here
