Tails is pretty easy to set up on your own and it doesn't differ much from setting up any other Linux Live CD. However, a few extra steps do exist to verify your download. Let's say someone decides to download Tails on their computer A, and uses USB flash drive or burned CD to move this live OS to computer B. Apparently, burning the CD or DVD on computer A compromises anonymity by saving the serial number of the drive that was used to burn them, and USB drives also leave record of at least plugin/out times as well as usually information to uniquely identify which flash drive was used.
